Simple Self-Care Morning Regimen

Wake up 30 minutes to an hour earlier if at all possible

Get your body moving by stretching properly when you get out of bed

Spend time in prayer and/or meditation

oTake deep diaphragmic breaths simultaneously

Write in a Gratitude Journal

oWrite at least 5 things you are grateful for

Make a well-balanced breakfast (do not skip this meal)

oA Green Smoothie is a great substitute for coffee and it is better for your body

Anytime Self-Care Regimen

Play Games (remember being a kid and just have fun)

Get outside and enjoy nature

Get or give a hug

Be creative (knitting, scrapbooking, cooking, drawing, dancing, art, etc.)

Listen to your favorite music

Read a great book

Take a relaxing aromatherapy bath

There are so many different things you can do to create the best self-care ritual for yourself, do not limit what you can do. Do not pressure yourself, this should be fun, add things that you enjoy doing and try some new things as well.

When we are so much on the go, the last thing on our minds can be our own self-care and we wonder how we can find joy in our day-to-day lives. However, trust me; it is much easier than you think as I have share with you.

Start with doing something for just five to ten minutes per day and then add on a little more at a time and you will begin to see that you had more time than you originally thought you did.

You must be important to you in order to show up completely for the others in your life. It is not selfish to put yourself at the top of your list. You deserve to be treated like the Queen that you are and valued just like everyone else. As a women and a mother, you are what makes the world go around. So get ready to experience your well-deserved healthier, happier and more exciting life, just because you took some time out just to do you!
