Dr. Nicole Farmer is a leader and entrepreneur at heart. Since becoming the first African-American woman to own a Tuffy Auto Service franchise in 2006, she has been on a mission to inspire minority and women business owners to realize their dreams of entrepreneurship.

After experiencing growing pains while running her multimillion-dollar company, Farmer launched LifeLine Business Consulting Services to coach women and minority entrepreneurs on how to successfully navigate through the start-up and development stages of business ownership. .

To date, Farmer has worked with more than two thousand entrepreneurs in the areas of coaching, training, and strategic planning, while using real-world experience to help them achieve success. With Farmer's guidance, in 2015 alone, approximately 33 business owners received over 1.4 million dollars in funding for their business endeavors.

Her gift of motivating and inspiring entrepreneurs is a bonus to the technical knowledge she provides. Farmer has beat the odds of teenage

pregnancy as well as living impoverished to becoming a nationally known leader in entrepreneurship training and development.

In addition to LifeLine Business Consulting, Dr. Nicole as she is “affectionately known,” hosts a radio and television program and has two books on schedule for release in 2015. What she signifies as one of her greatest accomplishments is the LifeLine Young Entrepreneur Leap Pad tour (Y.E.L.P.) which will host entrepreneur workshops in historically black colleges and universities across the nation.

Dr, Farmer is a well-sought speaker, independent certified coach, teacher, and is a member of The John Maxwell Team. Farmer is also a partner with the Detroit Collaborative consortium that includes the Michigan Women’s Foundation, Detroit Development Fund, and New Economic Initiative, where she provides a distinctive voice.

Nicole Farmer resides in Detroit with her husband, Bishop Keith Farmer, and their sons Devin and Sebastian.
