Whether it’s the butterflies you get in the pit of your stomach from an embarrassing moment, the tear that forms in your eye from reliving a bad relationship, or the heartbreak of a pain so deep in your core that you wish you had never experienced it…praise God for being bruised but not broken, and keep it moving.

Scars…

We all have them. It’s easy to look back, regret, and stay wallowed up in a “pity me” moment. But that’s for the weak; the ones who do not recognize that all wounds heal…eventually. Envelope yourself in the fact that you are anything but weak; you are strong and Victory is your middle name. Each memory can be a scar.

Each word uttered toward you or behind your back in hatred can be a scar. Each wrong decision and wrong choice made can be a scar.

Shake it off and keep it moving.

you take your own self-inventory, I challenge you to look at the marks of your life and never regret who you have become because of them. God does not make mistakes. Your scars are a reminder that you are stronger than you ever knew you could be and that battles scars of your existence are never the end of your story; they are merely handcrafted-tools from God to make you stronger.

Choose to be like your scars; choose to heal, and in doing so you will find freedom from what ails you.
