Real Food Media Impact Reports 2018 Real Food Media Impact Report | Page 5
Since 2012, Real Food Media has been working to combat food
industry misinformation by decoding corporate spin, revealing the
true cost of industrial food, and supporting partner organizations
in strategic communications and creative storytelling initiatives.
Together with community and movement partners, we develop media strategies for policy wins and
movement-building that reflect our shared vision of racial, economic, environmental, and food justice.
We also work to expose how industry spin and influence promote power and profit over people and
planet, and we work to lift up the voices at the forefront of food system transformation.
Through a wide range of tools—including short videos, radio, podcasts, social media, public events,
and storytelling—we flex our communications muscle for the food system we need.
