Then it dawned upon me… Benny Balance!
Sure enough, next second I hear a roaring laugh and as I turn
around it’s him. Benny Balance. He greets me enthusiastically “Let’s talk!”
So I get straight to the point. “How have you created such a high performing office?” He replies with one word “BALANCE” Then continues. “If you have a triangle and on one side you have BODY, then another side SPIRIT, and the third side MIND. Then if you spin the triangle fast enough it forms a circle, a never ending loop, all connected. It all becomes ONE.” He explains. “It takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at your craft. Yet, you can speed that up by supporting it. Through your Body, Mind and Spirit.”
I was on the edge of my seat as he was talking. He continued “By instilling these principles into your team the rest follows, as you have probably already spoken to Arnold, Louise and Tony.” “Yes I certainly have” I responded. “Incredible performers” I proclaimed. “Yes, they are. Yet combining all three elements is where true greatness and success comes from. Yes, earning great commissions is fantastic. However, it is about what’s within you, your confidence, your calmness, your intention. This then allows you to have meaningful relationships with your partner, your kids, your family, friends and so on” The wisdom was flowing from him. “So true” I responded “So true.”
“Listen” he remarked “I’m about to pick up my kids from school, but I want to leave you with this. Anyone can become successful, I mean anyone. It starts and finishes with you! It starts with a spin of the triangle and keep spinning it. Then you will become successful.”
