“There is no excuse” proclaims Arnie. “A rule in my team is ‘No Sess, No Commish” If they miss a session then I doc their commission. Simple! Everyone must train.” He continues saying “I want my team full of energy, bubbly, happy, confident and disciplined. Their activity in the gym is in direct correlation to their activity on the phone.” He continues to explain that he has no time for excuses. “I have heard them all before… It’s too early; I’m not a morning person; I’ve got kids; I don’t know what to do; I don’t have time…”

Arnie has been successful in earning over $1million consecutively for the past 6 years and he directly relates this to his dedication and consistency to his training.

Down the hall in a big bright office, sun beaming in, incense burning and a slight whisper of chimes in the background caught by the breeze is the office of Louise H. Louise, a successful agent in her own right earning over $1.5million knows what it’s like to be successful.

Noticing cushions on the floor of her office (as there are no chairs) I sit down and notice Louise sitting across from me with her eyes closed and breathing deeply, slow and calm. Without a flicker her eyes remain closed she welcomes me by my name without knowing who I was.

“BE…DO…HAVE…” she whispers “BE…DO…HAVE” she says again. “In order to be a successful agent one must follow these principles. BE…DO…HAVE.”

She then goes into detail. “BE the person you need to be; DO the activity you need to do; then you will HAVE the things you want.” She continues “Most agents just focus on the DOING and they want the HAVE right away…. DO DO DO. They leave out the most important part, is the BE. Being relates to many factors.” She describes “It is about self awareness of who you really are, who do you want to become more of. It is about stopping and being present with self, vendors and buyers. This gives you the ability to connect on a deeper level, build trust and do more deals.” She says with a smile.

“Meditation and breathing are my two biggest secrets. They have given me more business than anything else. Daily meditation of 20mins allows me to clear my mind, clear my thoughts and allows answers and next steps come to me with ease” she proclaims.

Louise concludes with this statement “Discipline and structure in my rituals of meditating and breathing results in me not stressing; flowing with my deals; and having win-win outcomes with my clients.”

As I leave Louise’s office I hear some kind of chanting further down the hall. As I go down to investigate I see through the glass this six foot tall guy, well built, with a massive head chanting to himself. “I am the best…I am a master lister… I get amazing results for my clients” he is yelling to himself. The sign on the door says “Tony R…The Best”

I had heard of this agent before. He is a walking university. He can quote anything from Brian Tracey, Zig Ziglar, and Tom Hopkins just to name a few.
