Was it always your intention to break out of the ‘real estate agency’ mould and redefine the scope of the industry?

I have always focused on ensuring Black Diamondz filled the gap in the market that I identified at the beginning of our growth. However I continue to work hard to define the scope of our concierge service. As our buyers needs grow, so do ours. And this creates a wonderful and positive momentum as our company’s range grows wider and wider and we continue to evolve with current demands.

If the foreign ownership rules for non citizens / residents change or become more restrictive, how do you think this may affect your business?

There is much heresay on the true reason the Chinese buyer is so invested in Australia at this time. What I can 100% guarantee to you, is that our buyers invest in Australia and our properties for the lifestyle. The Australian way of life is idealistic, aspirational, clean, picturesque and inspiring. This is a very different backdrop to what my contacts are offered in China. Another profound reason for relocation to Australia is our schooling. The Australian education system is one of the very best in the world. All of these reasons compound to make the decision to becoming an Australian resident and easy one to make.

Myself, my team and my company are very strict and diligent on ensuring all of our buyers are qualified.

Because our buyers are purchasing a new lifestyle from my company, our buyers will go through all of the correct channels in regards to visas to ensure the ultimate outcome for them and their families.
