You look at the phone and it stares back at you. Intimidating you. Ready to spit back an onslaught of negativity, depression and hopelessness. “Not interested! Too busy! Call me next year! How did you get my number? Do not call me again! He is not available…and will never be available whenever you call next. Send me an email and I will call you back.. Send me an email which will never be read so I will never ever call you back.”

You fear that the whole world, the faceless voices on the other side of this communication device, will never listen to your message. They cannot wait to destroy your self-confidence, your belief in yourself, your empowerment. It is all crumbling before you even touch this device from the devil.

You wonder, "Do I have to sell my soul to command this wretched device? Is there some ritual that will make me oblivious to the taunts, the sniggering in the background, Will I be another caller that is unceremoniously discarded onto the heap called rejection? Is procrastination my friend?
