MARNA VAN DER WALT
Gordon Hulley, CEO, Excellerate Holdings, said: “Our
partnership with CBRE aligns with our core values and by
structuring our relationship as a joint venture, rather than an
alliance, we will pool our respective skills and expertise and
foster intense collaboration, which will drive superior client
outcomes.”
Marna van der Walt, CEO of Excellerate Property Services,
agrees. “The joint venture partnership with CBRE will allow
us to provide seamless coverage across the region and services
that meet the highest global standards. It is a privilege to part-
ner with an organisation of CBRE’s calibre, and we look for-
ward to growing and strengthening our business.”
MARIUS MILLER
Texton Property Fund has appointed Marcel Golding as its
new Chairman and Marius Muller as its new Chief Executive
Officer with immediate effect.
Golding replaces Dempsey Naidoo. While Golding is
non-executive, he has a shareholding in Texton, and the
board’s current Lead Independent Director, CA(SA) John
Macey, will continue in this role.
Naidoo and other directors not available for re-election to
the board at Texton’s AGM held recently, Trurman Michael
Zakhe Zuma and John Alastair (Chick) Legh, as well as Thys
van Heerden who resigned from the board, were thanked for
their contributions and wished well in their endeavours.
Muller says, “I am delighted to extend my involvement with
Texton and excited for this period of positive change. The sec-
ond half of 2018 has transformative for the business and we
are motivated to finalise the response to the exercise of a ‘put
option’ by the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) before
the end of the year to put Texton on the best possible footing
for all its shareholders as it enters 2019.”
