PROPERTY COACHING ADVERTORIAL 4 Steps to Fast Track Your Property Success BY EDITORIAL C reating Wealth and Financial Freedom with Property is not easy, but is certainly much EASIER than with any other solution and investment product available to ordinary people like you and me. We live in a society of “fast living” and immediate gratification and we want money and success now; actually we want it “now now” as we like to say in South Africa. Most aspiring, emerging or established Property Investors that engage with The Property Coach want to understand how to Fast Track their Property Success in a sustainable manner. We train them on our simple though powerful 4-steps to Fast Track Your Property Success that is based on both my personal experience and extensive research: A Strong Vision motivates you to Persevere • Step 2 - Find the Deal A Strong Vision motivates to Share • Step 1 - Develop a Strong Vision • Step 3 - Finance the Deal • Step 4 - Milk the Deal I can hear the question coming…“and how exactly will a strong Vision help me?” A Strong Vision motivates you to Start Your most daunting Property Deal is often your first one; that was the case for me. I don’t come from a particularly privileged background, had little cash to start with and was brainwashed by the idea that “debt is bad”; I can still clearly remember my hand shaking while signing that first Offer to Purchase for a 2-bed, 2-bath in Sandton, thinking “what have I just done?!” Most of us instinctively understand that Property is the right thing to do, know people that made money with Property but really struggle with taking action. Having a Strong Vision will give you the motivation and the courage to start and overcome your fear and discomfort. 34 DECEMBER 2018/JANUARY 2019 SA Real Estate Investor Magazine My Property Investing career has seen many setbacks; frankly I still make mistakes, though not as many, luckily. Only people that do nothing make no mistakes; but my vision has always been rock solid. I never wanted to spend my life working for money, I have always wanted to make money work for me. So when those setbacks happened (and some of them, the best ones, were expensive ones…) I never succumbed to negative thoughts like “This Property thing is not for me”. I reconnected with my vision, vowed to never make the same mistake again and headed off to the next deal. You will also experience the unavoidable setbacks; that’s when you need a Strong Vision of why Investing in Property is not a “nice-to-have” but the most likely path to your Financial Freedom. Those like me that are blessed with children have said it a million times “Sharing is Caring”. A Strong Vision will turn you into a messenger and you will want not only to share your vision but also to get more people onto the same property journey and vision. I am sure some of my friends and family when they see me coming must be thinking, “I hope he is not going to talk about property … again!” I love property and I love to share my vision and my passion. I encourage you to do the same and you will be better off for it. Having recently returned from a business trip to the U.S., I’m inspired by these words by Abraham Lincoln “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe”. Are you sharpening your axe by having a motivating vision to your Property Journey and by investing in your property- specific education? Next issue, we explore proven strategies to find great property deals and buy below market value. SOURCE ThePropertyCoach.co.za or email [email protected]
