Author, Lisa Andrews 2000's. After completing her first volume she found that it opened doors and possibilities she has since used to enhance the experience for her readers. One of the enhancements is her cookbook, “More Than Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup.” Even when ever tragedy strikes and the future appears to seem bleak, Janet has never been, and plans on never being a quitter. Janet believes wholeheartedly that when one door closes another one opens – maybe not as quickly as she would like it to, but she is confident it will open nonetheless. She gets teased by her friends regularly about being “epic.” She laughs right along with them, knowing they are right, but she also knows that at times being epic pays off. “More Than Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup” is a prime example of how Janet's epic quality has brought her to the forefront once again, this time as a fairy tale cookbook author. At the pinnacle of Janet's food industry career she became a victim to health issues that did not allow for the demanding work load. Devastated, she closed the doors on her bakery and cast aside all of the hard work and preparation she had put into creating four themed restaurants. pictures, detailed restaurant descriptions, owner (character) histories, full menus, and over 300 select recipes. She thought and thought about all of the work she had done to prepare for her next big step that never happened – that being the opening of the first of four restaurants. It was then that in talking with her husband they decided she should incorporate her restaurants into the novel. With a smile on her face that no one could peel off, Janet “dashed through the open door” and pulled out all of her notes, recipes, and restaurant designs. Originally Janet saw “Two By Two” as her five-star, fine dining restaurant. She not only kept the name, but the theme as well on Maycly. “Two By Two” was designed to give couples a romantic place to wine and dine together among a lush jungle style setting where strolling musicians softly played songs of love for the couples. Each table would be secluded just enough to make each couple feel special, and that perhaps they were the only ones dining there that evening. It was back to the manuscript to tweak and enhance. She slightly changed the names of some of her restaurants so they would be a better “fit” on the world of Maycly. From there she and her team of experts developed the full blown cookbook: “More Than Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup,” complete with Janet had her work cut out for her once again, but not to worry, her epic ability shined through. Being that the original recipes had been created here on Earth, they contained a lot of comfort food complete with meat. Being as though Maycly proved to be a world where meat is not eaten, many of the
