but she soon realized that
marketing in the new age of
social media was something
she was hardly prepared for.

Tammie Clarke Gibbs was first
published on national scale in
2001 when her book RECIPES
FOR ROMANCE FROM THE
LEADING LADIES &
GENTLEMEN OF
ROMANCE, debuted at the
2001 RT BOOKLOVER’S
CONVENTION in Orlando,
Florida. It was an exciting time
to not only see her first book in
print, but also to be placed
between two of her favorite
authors, Jude Deveraux &
Heather Graham at the Book
Fair.
While that book sent her on a
whirlwind tour consisting of
both independent and national
book chains such as
Waldenbooks and Barnes &
Noble, TV and radio
appearances, and there is no
doubt it was fun, she longed to
be among the other fiction
authors she showcased in her
book. She then turned her
sights on her own career, but it
