replaces Pierce Brosnan as Chiron) and Stanley Tucci (as Mr. D aka Dionysus). Kudos to the creators of PJ2 for pulling off a thrilling sequel!! Finally, some discussion on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books/movies. I have to say that I have browsed portions of the books but my daughter has read them all (and absolutely loves them)! The first movie was cute but the sequel, Roderick Rules, was hilarious. Made for parents and kids alike, the Wimpy Kid movies are delightfully amusing while addressing some very real issues – and, let’s face it, showing kids that in the end, parents always sniff out their plots. The Wimpy Kid movies make family film night a hit! All in all, these YA/Tween films hit the mark and while I am sure to be watching many more, it may be difficult to beat these. Any questions or discussions you’d like to see next month, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org om and I will see what I can do.
