1. Make getting a better night sleep a priority

2. Maintain a regular sleep schedule

3. Turn off electronic devices 1-2 hours before bed

5. Sleep in a completely dark room (all sources of light off) or wear eye covers

6. Set the bedroom at a comfortable temperatures

7. Take a warm, soothing bath at night

8. Relax and read before bedtime

9. Write a list of things you want to get done tomorrow in your calendar

10. Do Tai Chi or stretching at night to destress

11. Listen to soft music or recorded nature sounds before bed to help wind down
