in the Dark

Our heart speaks its soft whispers in the quiet stillness between the beats of our heart and breaths of life. However, we are often so distracted with the noise of societal media that we can become set far off our course. Hence, the ego dispels that which we are.

Have you ever just sat and daydreamed with your sweet lil self and enjoyed what she brings forward?

There are moments where I sit and stare out the window and have nothing on my mind. That is when the quiet stillness between my heart beats bequeaths my wisdom. The ego beastly balks, “Check your social media.” No thank you - my sweet heart says to me.

Try to complete this in the quiet stillness of the morning. Maybe you are journaling and enjoying your favorite morning beverage to get the juices flowing. Sit and stare as the sun breaks over the horizon. There is a beautiful moment as the dark releases the depth of the soul into the light of the morning. This is a way for your heart and soul to whisper what it wishes you to know. Hence, it is important to let go of the distractions and flow into the beauty of which you are.

You are a beautiful being and in the quiet stillness between the breaths of life is when your imagination comes alive. Have you ever had a wonderful writing epiphany for your blog, or point of inspiration in the shower, and when you sit down to pull this forth - it doesn’t come?

Time for the truth. Your epiphany is strong and your divine idea is grand. Then the ding of social media chimes and your ego says aha - time to knock her off course. I know, I have been there and done that. But let me let you in on something powerful: I am so over it!
