This month I am grateful for the dear friend who re-introduced me to my bicycle. It proved to be a great way to de-stress as I (what I call) “white lined it.” On an emotionally rough day, I put on my gear and rode as hard and fast as my legs would propel me. I focused on the white line of the road with the intent to silence the monkey-mind-chatter. At one point I looked up and realized I was quite a distance from the house. Yikes. Later that evening I would learn I rode fifteen miles in fifty-five minutes.

On that day, it was the most loving thing I could do for myself. I, just like you, continue to put my best foot forward and know I'm on the path for personal growth. My heart is my compass. There are days I take a side trip and go on an adventure I'd rather not traverse, but I always learn more from those experiences than I would had I taken the easy route.

May you find the blessings in each experience, and express your gratitude for the opportunity to keep moving forward.
