Concorde 2 , Brighton Singer , model , and mum-of-four Sophie Ellis-Bextor returned this year with sixth album Familia , co-written with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt . Next year she plans to bring her take on nu-disco combined with classy pop hooks to Concorde 2 and to demonstrate why she has been praised for a change in musical direction . ( Whilst still playing ‘ Murder on the Dance Floor ’, we hope ).

The dress-down day is raising money for some very special projects to support sick children in Sussex , including young patients at the Royal Alexandra Children ’ s Hospital in Brighton .
