Welcome The days have drawn in and I for one don’t like leaving for work in the dark and getting home in the dark. Fortunately, the team at Re: Towers continues to be a ray of sunshine each and every day. We have another great issue for you. Liza had the enviable task of meeting Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar at his amazing restaurant in Mayfair. He shares tales of having pans of boiling sprouts poured over him by an angry French chef and taking curry back to Mumbai. I’ve been on my travels since last issue with a trip to Portugal and a flying visit to Scotland but this was trumped by Zoe Summers who shares her experiences of getting married in Barbados. Laurence caught up with Seagulls manager and Liverpool legend Sami Hyppia earlier in the season to find out more about the Finnish star’s plans for the season. Interspersed with this amazing content are some really interesting stories about the law and how it affects you or your business as well as some of the things that the Mayo Wynne Baxter team have been up to in the community; including the Board taking part in the ice bucket challenge for Macmillan Sussex! At point of writing we are just waiting to hear if our lovely colleague Amy has had her baby yet and we welcome our new editorial assistant Lorna Pearce to the Re: Magazine Team. On behalf of the Partners and staff at Mayo Wynne Baxter I’d like to take this opportunity to send you season’s greetings and to wish you a prosperous 2015. We will have another packed issue for you in the spring. Nick Garrish shares his love of Shoreham-by-Sea supported by some great pics by Michael Mulcare. We have another great recipe from Liz at Sylvia’s Kitchen and Wes’ wine selections are spot on for a winter tipple. It’s always a bit manic in the Re: Magazine office around deadline time and we occasionally miss the odd typo. Again we have wordsmith Lorraine Nugent trying to spot them for us and if she misses any we’ll be paying £5 for each one to our nominated charity – Macmillan Sussex. Jason Edge Editor So if you spot a spelling mistake, do let me know. I hope that you enjoy this issue over the winter and as always I would be grateful for any feedback, good or bad. I’d love to hear what you think of this issue of Re: Magazine so please drop me a line at [email protected] 3
