Forest Introducing Row In October one of the largest law firms in Sussex just got bigger following the our merger with P R Vince solicitors in Forest Row. This latest expansion follows Mayo Wynne Baxter’s merger with Allen Ticehurst solicitors in East Grinstead last year and heralds the firm’s commitment to growing its Sussex client base. The completion of this merger means that th e firm now has around 200 staff across six offices in Sussex. Previous P R Vince clients can be assured of the same high level of service, as the new owners have plans to increase the areas of legal specialism offered from this base whilst retaining the current staff, many of whom have been with the Forest Row firm for more than a decade. Mayo Wynne Baxter brings to Forest Row an expanded range of services including specialist areas such as clinical negligence, mediation, agricultural law and a full range of business legal services to support the existing offering. The previous owner, Peter Vince, has agreed to stay on as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition for clients. Mr Vince who founded the practice in the 1970s said: “This merger is a good fit for us and our clients. We pride ourselves on 16 the way we care for our clients and this ethos is shared by Mayo Wynne Baxter which has a reputation for providing excellent client service”. He added: “I am very much looking forward to seeing the business flourish further under their stewardship.” Chris Randall, chief executive at Mayo Wynne Baxter, said: “This merger fits with our core strategy for growth and, despite the difference in size there is a great cultural match, as both firms are committed to delivering legal services to the highest possible standards.” He added: “We are very pleased that Peter Vince has agreed to stay on and we are eager that clients know that it is business as usual”. This merger is a good fit for us and our clients Peter Vince and Chris Randall
