We were the first to arrive at the Castle
which was adorned with Christmas
Flowers and Christmas trees and
decorations throughout. No queuing
for us, just a short wait for the Castle to
open on a beautiful Monday morning in
December.
After walking round the Castle and
taking in the history of the various
rooms in the castle we headed to the
Maze. To get there you walk through
the gardens which were being dug over
in readiness for the spring. There is
wildfowl everywhere, ducks and swans
and if you are lucky you will spot the
Peacock. Our first experience of Leeds
Castle was lovely and we left feeling like
