the UV light I could see that there was
something hidden in the wall, and there
it was, the “Monet” painting which has
been stolen from the gallery. We made
our way out with 3 minutes to spare! It’s
a very nerve wracking experience and
your competiveness really comes out.
I didn’t realise I was so competitive but
when you start screaming at your new
husband to hurry up and work out the
algebra riddle we had been given (maths
was never my forte), you know you need
to reign it in before he decides this is
the first and last holiday you’ll be taking
together as husband and wife!
In the last couple of years, the new
I-Drive 360 had opened. This is based
around a 400 ft wheel which gives you
amazing views over Orlando. Funnily,
my husband who loves rollercoasters
and has been on some of the biggest,
highest and scariest in the world, got
very nauseous at the top, couldn’t stand
up and couldn’t wait for the whole thing
to be over! He did of course need to
stand up briefly to capture me posing
against the beautiful backdrop.
The range of restaurants on International
Drive is so vast, we would spend all
day debating on where we wanted to
eat. On one occasion we ate at this
Caribbean themed restaurant, Bahama
Breeze. I had jerk chicken pasta and to
this day I have never had pasta so tasty!
