Concerning or regarding.
Welcome
most famous drinks, Coca Cola. Really
interesting stuff. Unfortunately Ben is
moving back to his native New Zealand
over the summer but he has promised
to keep writing for us from the other side
of the world. We wish him well although
I’m not sure who will be making my
Error’s Edge for me next time I’m out for
a cocktail.

Sue Evans has kindly shared with us her
recent trip to Myanmar on page 58 and
it looks and sounds amazing. There’s
an interesting piece on the Wey & Arun
Canal from Robin Carr and I’ve penned
a few words about the lovely village of
Henfield too.

Sussex in the summertime is
a brilliant place to be and love
is in the air at Re: Towers.
You will notice that this issue has a
bit of a wedding bias. Not because
anyone in the team is getting married
(although I wouldn’t be surprised if Liza
had some news to share at some point)
but because I was invited my cousin’s
wedding this summer and it got me
thinking about everything that is involved
in celebrating the couple’s big day
such as what to wear and what to buy
them. The team have been busy helping
answer these big questions.
We have won an award since last issue
and we are very pleased with ourselves.
Against stiff competition we won the
Customer Delight award at the Gatwick
Diamond Business Awards which was
presented to us by Hugh Dennis, more
on this on page 100.
We sent Liza out to flex her journalistic
muscles and interview Norman Baker
who lost his position as a Cabinet
Minister at the general election and she
delved in to what it must feel like to go
from an all consuming role to out of a job
overnight. She also tackled the former
MP for Lewes on a number of topics and
he certainly has plenty to say.
Ben Leggett has written a fabulous piece
about the history of one of the world’s
I particularly enjoyed researching the
wedding gift ideas on pages 40 & 41
and my favourite is the personalised
print from SmartCharlie.co.uk which
is a unique and thoughtful present for
any happy couple. I should declare an
interest at this point as the lovely woman
who makes them is one of the reasons
that love is in the air at Re: Towers.
Just these features alone would make a
great issue but as always we have our
regular Exceptional Homes, Golf Tips,
Sussex Sport, News , Wes’ Wine, reviews
and articles about the law that could affect
you or your business as well. We spoil you.
I really hope that we have a scorching
summer in Sussex and that we have
lots of opportunities to fire up the BBQ
and enjoy a glass of something cool and
refreshing. If you are getting married
this summer then we hope you have a
fabulous day.
As always I really hope you enjoy this
issue and I welcome any comments you
may have so feel free to drop me a line
at [email protected] or visit our
Facebook page.

It’s always a bit manic in the Re: Magazine office around deadline and we occasionally miss the odd typo so if
you spot one, do let me know. I hope that you enjoy this issue and as always I’d love to hear what you think of
