Step by step makeup application:
After your skin is prepped apply a thin
layer of face primer, or if you don’t have
that then at least use a toner for longer
lasting makeup.
Apply your foundation to even out
your skin tone. Use a beauty blender for
that flawless skin effect. It’s absolutely
my favourite item in my beauty bag as
well as my work makeup kit. Not only will
it give you that ‘wow looking’ skin but it
will also save you time. It’s a must have
for every makeup lover and I promise it
will be your secret beauty weapon. Visit

brown colour as black can be too harsh.
Don’t forget to line between your lashes
as it will give an impression of a thicker
lash line. It really makes a big difference,
don’t miss this step.
Apply your favourite mascara, brown
is also a great alternative for a day time
look.
Don’t forget to moisturise your lips
with a lip balm. Using lip scrub will also
help to keep your lips soft and smooth. If
needed line your lips with liner closest to
your natural lip colour. Apply lipstick over
it. Don’t use very bright or very dull
colours as it won’t look natural. If you are
a lipgloss lover then use this instead.
Apply a bit of blusher to waken your
skin up. It’s a quick step that will make
your skin bloom in seconds.
Use powder to set your makeup in
place.
Sometimes less is more so don’t over
power your beauty with lots of makeup.
Makeup is just like clothing, you wear it
according to the weather, time of the day
and time of the year.
So blossom my beautiful ladies and
enjoy (hopefully) a sunny spring!

It’s very important to select the right
foundation according to your skin
type. If your skin is oily, stay away
from foundations that contain fatty
components such as oil. Oil fre e, matte
finish and long lasting formula is the best
choice.
If your skin is dry the key word is
hydration. Most foundations on dry
and sensitive skin appear to clog it,

that hydrates your skin and allows
it to breath. Stay away from powder
foundations as it will only highlight the
problem areas like dry patches and
flaky skin. Choose light formulas and
remember to use a good hydrating
moisturiser daily.
The best foundations for combination
skin should hydrate and also fight oil.
If you have combination skin and use a
foundation that’s only suited for oily or
dry skin, you may experience frequent
dryness, oily patches or breakouts.
Finding the right foundation for
combination skin types can help correct
these problems. For the best results
before applying makeup make sure you
cleanse and moisturise your face.
Use a concealer to get rid of any
blemishes or imperfections.
Eyebrows play a very important role in
your daily makeup routine as they frame
your face. You should always shape your
brows and keep them in perfect
condition. Give them a quick brush and
apply a brow pencil, brow powder or
brow gel to give that little extra definition
yet still keep them natural looking.
If you wish to use eye shadows, apply
shadow primer on your eyelids first to
keep them in place all day. Choose very
soft neutral colours such as ivory, soft
pink or soft peach. Use an eye pencil to
highlight your top lash line. Go for a
