Sussex Chamber of Commerce Business Leaders Conference
July saw the inaugural Sussex Chamber of
Commerce Business Leaders Conference
hosted by MWB’s Laurence Elphick in
Brighton. Over 50 business leaders and
entrepreneurs from Sussex were inspired
and entertained by a variety of high profile
speakers that included Kevin Byrne the
CEO from Check-a-Trade.com, Anthony
Stears, The Telephone Assassin, Liam
Hackett the founder of anti bullying charity
Ditch The Label and finally, model and
actress Caprice Bourret. Delegates had
time for questions and photographs
afterwards and the event was deemed
such a great success that a second
event is being planned with another host
of top name speakers for November. It
seems that Caprice took a shine to our
Laurence……..but then again doesn’t
everyone.
Career Progression
As part of our ongoing programme to
develop our fantastic legal teams we
are pleased to announce that Estella
Hlisnikowski and Beth Gale have been
offered Training Contracts to start in
September and Zahid Khan has been
accepted on to our Paralegal to Trainee
scheme, also starting in September. Jade
Russell our Marketing Apprentice has also
passed both of her Level 3 qualifications
(equivalent to 3 A Levels) which completes
her apprenticeship through Creative
Process.
