Golf Day
Around 90 guests joined the Partners and staff
for our annual golf day which this year was held
at the beautiful course at Mid Sussex Golf Club.
The weather was kind to us again and the RE:
Team (Laurence, Liza and Amy) were kept busy
whizzing round the course in golf carts delivering
water and chocolate bars to the players.
Although not officially a charity day we sold mulligans and fined
players £1 for every bunker shot they played. The lovely people
at Mid Sussex Porsche and Brighton Sea Life Centre donated
prizes which we raffled off and hairdresser Trevor Sorbie offered
to cut one lucky winners hair. Our generous guests helped us
raise over £1,400 on the day which was all donated to help
Macmillan Sussex build the Horizon Cancer Centre.
Lee, Andrew and the team at Mid Sussex Golf Club looked after
us brilliantly and the post game curry was exceptional. Our golf
day tends to be less formal than most others with the emphasis
on having fun and this was recognised when it came to the prize
giving with our editor taking away the ‘Hacker’ trophy for having
the worst individual score.
A big thanks to all our guests for joining us and for being so
generous.
