R E V I E W Porsche As I drove up to the door, there she was…just standing there on her own, eagerly anticipating my arrival, sporting a radiant smile that melted my heart as soon as I saw her! Positively glistening in the sunshine, she had an air of sophistication and style, despite retaining that ability to take on the appearance of a devil if she wanted; quite simply she was stunning, could it be true? Was I going to spend the weekend with her? What would my wife think? 100 C AY M A N S P D K When I arrived to pick up my weekend beauty, I was greeted by a very professional team of people, from the helpful receptionist, to Rob the Sales Manager, who described this particular Cayman as “..a bit of an eyeful…”. He wasn’t wrong. definitely…my kind of car. A sleek two door stunner with air intake vents on each side, colour coded trim, 20-inch alloy wheels and the unmistakeable nose of a Porsche, complete with Xenon headlights staring back at you, it was a true sports car from top to tail. It was a pure delight inside as well; comfortable seats formed part of a lavish black leather interior, complete with visible traditional Porsche touches and a centre console full of silver buttons flanking the gear lever, including the ‘sport’ mode and even the ‘sport plus’ mode. With an excellent driving position and a clear and unobstructed all around view, it was clear the Cayman was going to be a joy to drive.
