With my photography I've been blessed with opportunities to participate in some truly great motorsports events. From the Baja 1000 in Mexico to small local car shows in Hometown America, I've had the chance to photograph a wide range of high-horsepower, awe inspiring machines. From 36 horsepower Volkswagens to 2700 horsepower luxury powerboats there is no shortage of octane breathing machinery and events here on the west side of the continent. Even with all this fantastic engineering, it's still people coming together with friends and family that make these events and machines come to life and it's the freedom we all enjoy that makes this country great. All over the planet there are people that have no way of even comprehending the freedoms that we, as Americans, so often take for granted.
4th of July is a great time to reflect on what it is to be an American.
