This is Carl's newest acquisition to the fleet, and it's a prize for sure, but that's a story for another article another time. Carl and I talk quite a bit, but we only get to see each other four or five times a year. We took a minute to get caught up, and go over the new ride. We talked a minute about me hypothetically buying his 24 Howard that I want, but can't afford, and again we were underway to the next stop.

At the next stop I asked Carl to drive me over near MBrown's new center console. Between the typical MBrown Stereo and the mister system built into the top my head was spinning. As much as I love the performance segment, I'm not ashamed to admit I'm still thinking about turning in my performance card for a fishing (although party is a better description) vessel. We headed up the lake, and I pillaged MBrown's cooler for everything I could in my 30 minutes to the next stop.

As we approach the dam you have to slow to an idle for a brief no wake zone where Willow Beach is located. We pressed on, all of us ended up going right by a small sign that is supposed to tell you not to go any further towards the dam. When we got to the dam there was this weird noise you could hear echoing off the hillsides, and as I come to find out later that was their alert system. Apparently 23 boats all running up towards the log boom must have spooked somebody in command central. I'm not sure how our group could be mistaken as some kind of threat to the dam, but that's neither here nor there.
