August 2014 Vol. 2/rdp

While this week's newsletter

wasn't easy to come by it

was still fun to put together

and as always we are

excited to show you all

what's been happening on

the lakes and rivers we all

love!

Each time I start a new issue it seems unfathomable that we will somehow fill all the pages and be able to deliver a finished product, but with so many things happening on the boards and on the water I have to remind myself that there may be too many things to fit in one issue. This issue we take a look at a couple of truly amazing machines from two very different genres. One being a classic river v-drive with 1200 horsepower and dripping with that old school swagger that so many of us love, and the other is a fire breathing, exotic, off-shore cat. Two opposite ends of the performance spectrum and yet both equaly exciting!

You'll notice a new advertiser in this issue. Offshore Custom Marine has joined us and their ad shows just a small selection of the great boats they have to offer. Go check them out!

We've also added a new section called "Dockside". Dockside is a member pictures section with great shots that only the inmates could capture. Check it out on page 16!

While there's still plenty of great weather left for boating, you'll see that we switched things up a bit with an article about Havasu business Queen Racing. Queen builds the fastest Jet Skis and Side x Sides in the business and they are right here in Havasu, so if you are the type that has to be king of the hill go talk to those guys.

We will be throwing in more off road goodies as the temps begin to drop, but for now get out there and enjoy some great weather, better company, and maybe even a couple cold ones!

See you on the water!
