Luanne Bennett is an author of contemporary fantasy and the supernatural. She
likes to mix the paranormal with the mundane world as if you could walk outside
your own front door and be accosted by a dragon or a demigod. Obsessed with
cactus plants, animals, and anything involving red wine or a fine scotch, life is
good since she dove into writing as a career, not just a hobby. In a previous life,
she worked in the technology field designing software systems. But that was be-
fore she took the plunge and vowed to do whatever it took to finish her first manu-
script, including walking away from the corporate world. Scary, but well worth it.
She lives in Georgia where she writes full time and doesn’t miss a thing about the
cubicles and conference rooms of her old life. When she isn’t writing or dreaming
up new stories, she’s usually cooking or tending a herd of felines and Basset
Hounds.
