Alumni of KIRAN Inclusive School

Promila : What was your plan for further study or what was your turning point of your life?

Vishal Yadav: When I was in class 8th in my village school, it was coincident when we met one of my relative Mr. Ram Dular Yadav. I can say this was turning point of my life. He saw me and asked about my study and future plan. He told that he used to go to KIRAN Suryodaya, Lanka to give tuition to the youngsters in order to get admission in prestigious school of Varanasi CHS (Central Hindu School affiliated to Banaras Hindu University). Why should I not try for this school for higher study as you are good in study? Then he suggested to meet Mr. Rajendra sir in this regard at Suryoday, Lanka. I didn’t any contact in this three year 2002-05 with KIRAN. Then I first contacted Mr. Rajendra Nath Rai, Social Integration manager in Suryodaya. He gave me assurance for my higher studies and suggested to prepare entrance examination in order to get admission in class 9th.

Later I was appeared for entrance examination for Class 9th in CHS School and got admission in this prestigious school of Varanasi. Rajendra sir encouraged me that I should not stop my study due to financial reason and go for higher study. KIRAN will support you anyhow. I studied in village school class 6-8th and stood first in the class without much study but here the atmosphere of study was totally different and competitive. Then I realized that I should have work hard in study due to my poor knowledge of competitive world as the students were bright here in comparison to me and involved in other foundation courses. Then I started to get up in early morning at 4:00-AM in order to study hard until 8:00 AM. Now it has become my habit to get up early morning for study. My school was 12 Km far from my village and I used to go by bicycle. I was so tired and it was so difficult to come back from school. After completed my 12th standard, I had joined GRS coaching with the help of KIRAN for a year to get admission in medical study-MBBS

Promila : How did you know that you should go for medical study and become a doctor ?

Vishal Yadav : It was my childhood dream to be a doctor and serve humanity. We all know very well that the place of doctor is after God- “Doctor is like a God”. And I too got to know through Bollywood movies; when we lose our hope only doctor can save life after God. Due to my poor financial condition, first I was hesitated and thought how would it be possible? I knew that the medical course was very costly but thank to God and to Sr. Sangeeta that it had possible by their support. Rajendra sir was always behind me and encouraged.
