Policy on the Distribution of Donated Goods ( Both in Australia and Overseas )
All Project Managers and Project Committees have a responsibility to honour the intent of goods that are donated in Australia for charitable purposes . RAWCS does not and will not condone the misappropriation or on-selling of the donated goods either in Australia or other countries for personal gain or to other organisations for commercial profit . The donated goods must be distributed for community and personal use at no charge or fee by the organisation or the Rotary Club receiving them . Due diligence must be undertaken to ensure that beneficiaries distribute the donated goods in accordance with the charitable intent . Breaches of this policy may result in the project being suspended or deregistered .
