How did you fir st get involved with modeling?
Went to Bar bizon as a teenager.. hated it, quit.
Then as a young woman I met a man named Daniel Spikes on an SF bound BART tr ain (circa 2006?).
He encour aged me to tr y some pr int wor k? I had a shoot and loved it! Then I met a man named
Char les ?O?Shea? Faison shor tly after, he introduced me to r unway. He guided the ear ly stages of my
career and became a valued fr iend. His life tr agically ended a few year s later. RI P OSHEA
What was your fir st impression of the modeling business?
I quickly lear ned that there was a fine line between modeling and solicitation. When I star ted modeling,
M yspace was big and more often the women who wanted to have nice profile pictures were disguised as
talent. I knew I had to be a tr iple threat and I had to choose my business associates wisely to achieve my
goals. M ore impor tantly, I had to build my resume with quality wor k and exper iences.
What level of education do you have or have had in high
school or college?
I gr aduated Class Salutator ian in Haywar d, CA. I went to City College for 2 year s, Chabot College and
finally Cal State Univer sity Haywar d. (now CSUEB). I ?m a long semester away from my BFA.
Tell me about some people you?ve met while modeling that
has changed your life?
The entire O?Shea Family has become a sister hood and a lifeline for me. M ost of my closest fr iends are a
direct result of modeling with them.
What is your per sonal philosophy about life?
I have two! 1. I f you want to be tr usted, Be honest. I f you want to be honest, be tr ue. I f you want to be
tr ue.. Be your self. 2. I can do AL L things through CHRI ST, which strengthens me. ? Philipians Ch 4, V

Tell me about someone who has influenced you
here in the bay area?
There?s no ONE per son. I t?s the group of dreamer s that continue to push towar d their goals. The inner
circle of the suppor ter s that we all need. The men and women who shop
local businesses not because they want to use the hash-tag, but because they want to see them thr ive..
locally. The folks who dr ive to countless photo shoots, r unway rehear sals and fittings for the love of the
hustle. The unselfish lover s in this industr y.
I ?m inspired by them!
I n place of modeling , what would you be doing instead or what would your life be like?
I ?d do more acting. I love stage plays but I really fell in love with the silver screen. S/O HI TM , VJTV
and the whole Where M edia M eets family. Don?t know how my life would be- guess that would depend
on how har d I went in it.
What is RAW talent to you?
Doing what you love flawlessly and meticulously? for no bigger reason than your love for it.
