The Bay Area's own Black Picasso Andrew was born
in Oakland, CA. A talented self-taught 6 foot plus
artist that, dabbled in art as a young kid growing up.
I nick named him the Black Picasso. His work comes
alive and speaks volume. He paints pictures of
everyday life, whether it?s his sister and nephew
engaging in a warm hug he's captured with his
camera, his favorite rapper or just a flower
blooming; it is how he interrupts this and puts it on
a piece of paper or canvas that draws the observer
in. He's an Oakland, CA native but his roots and
environment does not limit his world. He has a very
close connection with his roots. Coming from a
family of artist inherited by his late grandfather
Raymond Easterling, he brings the fresh views of art
to the world and owns it. Andre's work is
consistently of canvas paintings done with oil &
water paints, but you can catch a camera in his hand
at any given day or moment. He definitely has next
in the artist industry, he's on our raising stars list of
Bay Area talent
