Editing and Post Production BA (Hons) Editing is the process of telling a story in the best possible way. This course offers you post-production skills in colour grading and visual effects, and aims to ensure that you are prepared for industry roles. Futures Editors and post-production professionals often start work as edit assistants, video encoders, assistant colourists, trainee visual effects compositors and machine control room technicians. Individuals can progress on to roles such as editors, colourists or compositors. The Course Editing is at the heart of this course and is backed up by a full range of related skills that will help you thrive in the post-production sector. This is an industry that continues to see rapid change and expansion, and the demand for multi-skilled professionals has never been greater. The course also provides essential learning in business and enterprise should you wish to start a business in editing or post-production and manage a freelance career. You will learn through a mixture of problem- based learning, practical workshops, lectures and masterclasses.
