Crescent Mummy Dogs Monster Apples Ingredients: Ingredients: 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dough sheets 10 slices vegan cheddar cheese 10 vegan hot dogs Yellow mustard Method: 1. Preheat oven to 375f 2. Unroll the crescent dough and divide into four equal rectangles. Using a knife, cut each piece into 10 strips lengthwise, creating a total of 40 strips. 3. Wrap a slice of cheese around each hotdog and wrap four strips of dough around each one like “bandages.” About a half-inch from one end, separate the strips to show the “face.” 4. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Use mustard to draw features on the “face.” 2 green apples, quartered Nut or seed butter of choice 32 sunflower seeds 2 strawberries, sliced into four pieces each 16 edible googly eyes, 2 per apple quarter Method: 1. Cut the middle out of each quarter of the apple in order to create a “mouth.” It is more than ok if the gap isn’t perfect, it’ll be filled in! 2. Fill each mouth with the nut/seed butter. 3. Arrange sunflower seeds on the top edge of the mouth to resemble the teeth. 4. Place a slice of strawberry inside the mouth as the tongue. 5. Attach both eyes above the mouth using a dab of nut/seed butter to make them stick in place. You can also make banana ghosts by halving bananas and getting creative with melted chocolate. Simply cut the banana in half and use a small amount of melted chocolate chips (like Enjoy Life chocolate chuncks) to make the ghost faces. Place in the refridgerator to cool and set. Put them on scewers for lunchboxes or place upright on a plate if emjoying at home. HEALTHY RECIPE FROM BEYOND BROTH Real health begins from the ground up with “boneless” veggie broth.
