began as a cover band in 2009 but in 2013 began to work on their own original music. Their love for music was what inspired them to form the band. “We wanted to do something powerful and forceful and of course make history in music”. All the members of Baby Dollz write music and they are inspired by everything around them. ("Nuestro amor por al música fue lo que nos inspiro a formar la banda. Queremos hacer algo música poderosa y llena de fuerza. Y claro, hacer historia con nuestra música en el mundo.")
We asked baby Dollz if Metal music was popular in Mexico. They replied that "Metal is not a popular genre in Mexico, although there is a huge fan base who love Rock and Metal." ("No es el género más popular en México, pero creemos que hay muchos fans que le encanta el rock o el metal y eso es lo que nos motiva a seguir escribiendo nuestras canciones.")
That is what motivates the Baby Dollz to continue, “We have so much support from our family, fans, friends… from everyone”. “They have supported us from the start and we are very grateful for that” ("Todo lo que esta al nuestro alrededor nos inspira, nos da fuerza y nos motiva a escribir canciones nuevas.") they stated.
Of course the Baby Dollz are always working hard creating new music. Music is a very important part in their lives and they are very eager to release a new EP or LP. Currently they are working on getting back on the stage and planning a tour. Baby Dollz wants to do something that inspires them and also something they can share with everyone. Making music is not a quick process but it is very satisfying when it is completed. (La música es una parte muy importante en nuestras vidas. Estamos muy entusiasmadas con nuestro nuevo material que hemos escrito.)
Any plans for the Baby Dollz to play in the U.S.?
"Of course, We want to play everywhere in the world!" ("Nos encantaría tocar en los Estados Unidos. Queremos que nuestra música se escuche y la conozcan en todo el mundo.")
