Gambino), the singer was able to craft a sound that fit the musical
path she wanted to travel and was an accurate representation of her
personality. She’s aware of the stigma and scrutiny that piggybacks
crossover artists, but Tarver says she tries not to focus on that, and
instead, focus on churning out great music.
