FLORIDA”, oil on canvas, signed lower right. 24 in. x 40 in.
Born in Hull, England in 1951, contemporary British marine artist Thompson has been painting for nearly forty

particularly battle scenes and boats that span from the 16th century battleships to modern yachts. Thompson has
exhibited his work throughout the United States as well as England, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland,
Monaco and Australia.
