RARE NANTUCKET SEWING TABLE , circa 1880 , upper basket woven in wicker , staves rising from a turned table top , suspended mid-body basket on two knobs constructed in typical Nantucket style also woven in wicker on walnut boot jack form stand on four shaped legs with applied half-urned finial . H 32 in . D 15 ½ in . Almost identical to one exhibited by the Nantucket Historical Association in 1994 curated by David H . Wood .
