208. SUPERB AMERICAN CARVED PINE LIFE SIZE SWAN PLANTER, circa 1880, the swan with its wings open and held close to
its side, the neck is curved and elegantly extends forward, delicate carved tail, the swan appears as though it is swimming. There are traces of
original gold finish under the tops of the wings and other projected areas, as it was originally gilded and created as an outdoor garden ornament.
