ivory zigzag wheels on a simple piece of bone carved with open hearts, blocks and wafers
on a scroll with 2-prong fork (one missing). Length 9 ¾ in.
407. DELICATE WHALEBONE PIE CRIMPER, 19th Century, solid ivory zigzag
wheel joined to a single piece of horn with heart spokes, the grip with two open columned
sections, flanking a cinched section ending with a 3-prong fork. Length 9 ½ in.
408. SAILOR MADE WHALE IVORY SCRIMSHANDED PIE CRIMPER,
circa 1850, the grip finial is a clenched fist and cuff, mother of pearl inset name plaque,
solid zigzag inset wheel ending in a fine two-prong fork, delicate floral vines throughout.

circa 1850, delicate ring on a polyhedron grip with 12 surfaces inlaid with abalone
