42. CARVED PINE POLYCHROME SHIP’S FIGUREHEAD OF SIR
FRANCIS COLLIER, 19th Century, older repainted surface with affixed engraved
brass plaque “Carved by B. Hellyer for Sir Francis Collier”. Height 43 in. Sir Francis
Augustus Collier (1786-1849) was a Rear Admiral in the Royal Navy and Commander on
East Indies and China Station, he died in Hong Kong.

43. WALRUS IVORY SHIP MODEL IN CASE, circa 1870, the hull shaped from a
single tusk, the rest of the model is carved, cut and steamed ivory, in a shaped mahogany
case with carrying handle, turned corner pillars with finials.
