Associations SAIRAC PE learns about controls Carel Controls presented on its latest range at the Port Elizabeth SAIRAC Centre’s monthly technical talk in March. #SAIRAC A t the South African Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SAIRAC) PE technical talk, Stuart Williams and Sujeeth Ramkhelawan spoke to members and guests about Carel Controls’ new range of controllers. The talk included retail application controllers, CO₂ application controllers, the Ultracell platform, the pRack platform, as well as the integrated solutions for high efficiency units. Some of the advantages highlighted included the flexibility and configurability of these controllers to be used in both smaller and larger systems. Members were impressed by the fact that these controllers feature input/output configuration attributes with up to 10 universal channels. The Carel representatives mentioned that the modularity of the controllers allow selection from a simpler system right through to a complex system. Ramkhelawan has been the Carel Eastern Cape representative for the last couple of years and now concentrates on the African Market, while Williams has been appointed as the new regional sales manager for KZN and the Eastern Cape.
