Events and Exhibitions AIAC celebrates its new home The official grand opening of the new AIAC offices took place at the new premises in Honeydew, Johannesburg on 22 April. A IAC recently invited clients and industry members to join them in celebrating the opening of its new facility, which will allow AIAC to grow and expands into new products and markets. From noon onwards people arrived to enjoy this momentous occasion with the AIAC team, who treated them to drinks and a variety of tasty dishes. Clive Parkman (Airedale CEO), Tony Cole (operations director) and Keith Nichols (Airedale training manager) were also in attendance all the way from the UK, to help the local branch celebrate the start of this new chapter. Andrew Koeslag, general manager of AIAC, took visitors around the new premises excitedly, explaining how the new building perfectly suited not only their manufacturing, but also their office needs. The new building would boost production capabilities while optimising the flow of dispatch – leaving room for even more growth in future. “We’re ecstatic about the move and the possibilities this brings,” said Koeslag. “This truly is the start of a new era for us.” The company has also gone through two weeks’ worth of training and grading by Airedale International to confirm that its standards are in line with their international standards. This in turn has already yielded results in export orders to Singapore and Bahrain with more on the way. There is even a good chance that the local branch will be manufacturing air-cooled chillers from its new factory for supply around the world. The new offices are still in Laser Park, Honeydew, but have moved to 154 Schooner Street.
