Leonn is a singer, songwriter, drummer and producer. He is the pioneer of ‘thenewfunkera’, a funk music movement which is heavily influenced by his artist inspirations that include James Brown, Prince and D’angelo. As the son of the 'godfather of British Gospel Music', the Reverend Bazil Meade, Leonn was playing drums next to Phil Collins and recording in the studio with Luther Vandross as a teenager. He has played as a session drummer for The London Community Gospel Choir, Jason Derulo, Blue and Westlife. He featured in the Formula One 2017 Grand Finale and his latest single S.I.N.S. was picked up and premiered by BBC Introducing in 2019.
