The Capabilities That Transform Businesses By Ward Quarles, Oracle and Chelsea Corken, Quest Staff Since the release of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications and Tools 9.2, customers have begun to take advantage of new capabilities and features. Net New Capabilities and Features in EnterpriseOne 9.2: • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. The first offering, called JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Trial Edition, is a single all-in-one image that can be provisioned in an hour without additional hardware capital cost. Trial Edition enables customers to explore new functionality in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Application Release 9.2, such as new industry modules, One View Financial Statements, Internet of Things Orchestrator, as well as mobile applications and user experience enhancements. The second offering provides automated provisioning of a multi-tier environment for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Application Release 9.2. This offering includes a migration toolkit, which allows customers to move their business configuration, data, customizations, and patch level from their on-premise instance to Oracle Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) with ease. This offering includes an instance of Server Manager and a deployment server for full manageability of the configuration, Oracle BI Publisher to support One View Reporting, and the Application Interface Services (AIS) Server to support mobility and IoT. Optionally, customers can leverage the Oracle Database Cloud Service for the JD Edwards database layer. • Advanced Job Forecasting Advanced Job Forecasting provides key capabilities for project-focused industries such as engineering and construction.
