The NMASBO Board continues our commitment to maintaining a healthy cash balance and to continue moving towards future sustainability for the organization. Last year we reorganized the member fee structure to begin to accomplish that goal of annual sustainability. This year in the budget we added an additional office staff person and provided a benefit package to support those individuals. We also are working on a strategic long term plan to see the organization through the next few years and provide a succession plan where we don’t skip a beat as changes in key personnel occur.
The remainder of the budget has stayed in line with past budgets and aligns to our NMASBO Board's Mission, Vision and Goals for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.

NMASBO President-Elect Election
As you probably know, the old codger that was the NMASBO president during the 2015/16 school year retired before completing his two-year term in office. Randy Evans, President-elect, has assumed the President’s seat. This leaves a vacant slot in the President-Elect position. We will be having an election to fill this position during the Fall Conference at Buffalo Thunder in September.
NMASBO is seeking individuals interested in serving the members of the organization in this important position. If you are interested in serving in this position, please prepare a short bio and email to [email protected] along with a professional headshot photo. The submission deadline is August 20th. NMASBO will compile all the bios and pictures and send an email to all members before the conference.
