NMASBO’s Selfless Servants

Looking back 15 years, NMASBO…you’ve come a long way baby!

What feels like yesterday, is just “another day in paradise” working with a great Board of Directors and all of you!

Your association is blessed with great leadership, past and present!

The NMASBO Board of Directors is committed to providing its membership with the latest and appropriate training to better assist district and charter school business officials throughout New Mexico.

President Randy Evans has set his sight on the membership; he is focused on ensuring that NMASBO is providing every member the opportunity to become engaged with the association. Randy is seeking out anyone interested in serving on current NMASBO Committees, also recruiting people who would like serving as a moderator for the upcoming fall conference in September. The moderator’s role will be simply to introduce our presenters before each training session, pass out handouts, and secure attendees signatures for certification hours. If you have thought about getting involved but just weren’t ready, we would like to welcome you to sign up now. You wont regret it. Meet new people who share the same interest of working to provide better schools for all our kids. Please contact our office if you are interested!

NMASBO Says Thank You To All Our Past Presidents

Terry Dean, Naomi Vicenti, Jose Cano, Tami Coleman, Nancy Ross, John Samford, Caron Snow, Bill Moffatt, Hugh Miller, George Perea, Larry Binkley, Ted Burr, Jack Jenkins, Michelle Woodard.

NOTE: This list of past presidents is our most up to date record.

I’ve had the honor and privilege of working with the majority of these past presidents during my tenure with NMASBO, they are the finest and most respected, hardest working group of professionals you will find in our schools. They all understood the importance of giving back to the profession to ensure that NMASBO will continue its Mission;

To lead The New Mexico school business by providing quality professional development opportunities and a network of support.

Success is a journey, not a destination… Enjoy your journey & have a great year!
