NMASBO will continue to work diligently for our members. We meet every March to establish a Strategic Plan for the new fiscal year. We have accomplished many things as an organization in past years and this year successfully transitioned to our new Executive Director. Terry Dean has hit the ground running, contributing his experience and knowledge to our team and we are confident that he will fill the leadership role in the organization.
We are looking forward to another great year! We always welcome input from our membership and need more involvement on our committees. If you are interested in serving our organization, please contact us and we will get you involved.

President's Message
Happy new year! Welcome to the 2018-2019 fiscal year. I am excited and humbled to be President of New Mexico Association of School Business Officials. Here is a little bit about me; I started working in the business office for Los Lunas Schools in August of 1996. I am starting my 23rd year in School Business. I am currently the Chief Finance Officer for Los Lunas Schools and, in addition to the Business Office, I oversee the Technology, Purchasing, Insurance, Student Nutrition, and Maintenance and Construction Departments. Los Lunas Schools serve 8,400 students, 1,200 employees, and an operating budget of 65 million dollars. I love my job, enjoy supporting my community and serving our children. I am blessed to have the opportunity to indirectly affect thousands of children in their educational experience every day.
I was introduced to the NMASBO organization early in my career and have served as a NMASBO board member since 2007. I was Treasurer of the organization from July of 2009 to June of 2016. Helping lead this organization is exciting for me and I truly believe in the work that we are doing, our Mission, Values, Vision and Goals. We have an awesome
